RGS Surrey Hills is an independent day and boarding school for students aged 11–18, located in the Surrey Hills countryside just 45 minutes from central London and within easy reach of Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We welcome students from more than 30 nationalities and offer GCSE, the International Baccalaureate (IB) and A Level and pathways, alongside outstanding pastoral care and boarding opportunities.

Assessment Process and School Visits

All international students will be interviewed either in person or online and will normally be required to take tests set by RGS Surrey Hills in Maths and English (these can be taken remotely). We always welcome visits to our school from international applicants and their families when you will meet with one of our Senior Team and enjoy a guided tour of the school.


Registration Form

Please note: this Registration Form must be completed in one sitting.

If a place is offered and you choose to accept, a £250 international registration fee will then be required. Payment details will be emailed to you upon acceptance of a place.

 

NB: All CAS/Visa applications will be handled by Holmes & Partners Ltd and initiated by our Registrar on receipt of the signed acceptance form and fees deposit.


Guardianship for International Students

We require all our international students to have a Guardian who is accredited to gold standard by either AEGIS or BSA (Boarding Schools Association).

Can international students study the IB at RGS Surrey Hills?

Yes. Students can choose between the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and A Levels in Sixth Form.

How far is RGS Surrey Hills from London?

RGS Surrey Hills is approximately 45 minutes from central London. The closest airports are Heathrow and Gatwick.

Do international students need a guardian?

Yes. International students are required to have a guardian accredited by AEGIS or the Boarding Schools Association.
