Year 12 September 2025

Welcome to all Years 12s and their parents!

We are really excited to welcome you to RGS Surrey Hills in September. This page has been made for you.

Your Head of Sixth Form is Mr Anthony Bainbridge who teaches Geography and is Head of A Levels.

Your tutors will be introduced to you over email throughout the summer, and you’ll have a chance to meet them on Induction Day.

There are a number of key members of staff in Sixth Form, for example Mrs Sinead Tobin who is Head of Careers, Mr Julian Baker who is Head of IB.

On Induction Day, Thursday 4th September, you’ll be able to talk to other members of staff who will be there to support you on your journey throughout RGS Surrey Hills. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy looking through this page.

Music Lessons

Learning a musical instrument is a fantastic way for your child to develop creativity, confidence and concentration. If your child would like to take peripatetic lessons on their chosen instrument next year, please complete the form below or email us the details as soon as possible. This will help us ensure that your child gets a place for lessons starting in September.

LAMDA

LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) lessons are a brilliant way for your child to build confidence, improve communication skills, and develop their performance abilities. Whether it’s acting, public speaking, or verse and prose, LAMDA helps students express themselves clearly and creatively which are valuable skills both in and out of the classroom.

If your child would like to take LAMDA lessons next year, please complete the form below or email us the details as soon as possible. Please email them back to Caroline Lowe, Lowec@boxhillschool.com. This will help us secure their place ready for September.
