We welcome enquiries and applications from international students wishing to join RGS Surrey Hills in Years 7–13, including entry to our Sixth Form in Years 12 and 13.
As a co-educational day and boarding school, we welcome students from around the world into a diverse and supportive school community. Depending on their age and point of entry, students can study towards GCSEs, A Levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Working with Education Agents
We value the relationships we build with our education agents and aim to make the admissions process as straightforward as possible.
If you are representing a student, our Admissions team can advise on suitability, availability and the most appropriate entry route before an application is submitted.
We will work with you throughout the admissions journey, from initial enquiry and assessment through to offer, acceptance and preparation for joining RGS Surrey Hills.
Entry and Assessment
Applications are considered individually, taking into account the student’s age, previous education, academic profile and level of English.
The Admissions team will advise on the appropriate assessment and interview process for each candidate. Where appropriate, elements of the admissions process can be completed remotely for students applying from overseas.
English as an Additional Language
Support is available for students for whom English is an additional language. The level of English required will depend on the student’s age, year of entry and proposed academic programme.
Our Admissions team can advise agents on the appropriate requirements for individual candidates before application.
Scholarships
A range of scholarships may be available to students who demonstrate particular talent or potential.
Opportunities include Sport, Music, Art, Dance and the Westgarth Scholarship. Availability, eligibility and application deadlines vary according to the student’s year of entry.

Visas and CAS
International students who require a Child Student visa will be supported through the visa and CAS process.
All CAS and visa applications are managed by Holmes & Partners Ltd and initiated by our Registrar once the signed Acceptance Form and required deposit have been received.
Further information and documentation requirements will be provided to families and their representatives at the appropriate stage of the admissions process.

All international students will be interviewed eimailto:registrar@rgs-surreyhills.orgther in person or via Zoom and will normally be required to take tests set by RGS Surrey Hills in Maths and English (these can be taken remotely).
We always welcome visits to our School from international applicants and their families when you will meet with one of our Senior Team and enjoy a guided tour of the school.
